I purchased these replacement lenses with the intention and understanding that the lenses would darken in the sun. Well, they don't darken at all. From almost clear - indoors to full sunlight (and left in the sun for 20 minutes) it has changed only slightly. Not enough to consider using sunglasses. Unsuitable as sunglasses. When these things get darker, you won't be able to say it. I have 2 other glasses being switched and they work very well. These things don't do much. I gave them 2 stars: 1. because they were cheap and fit a frame, and 2. mainly because I was looking for clear lenses for night riding and they really don't fit. darken to make it work.
