Don't Buy!: Sunglass Replacement Lenses

If you were planning on replacing them sometime this century, you'll need a blowtorch, pliers, and a small extraction team in case something goes wrong. Not sure if ear socks need to be cooked at 500 degrees before fitting or the company that made them didn't know they didn't fit, but they suck. You have to find another way to waste your time...

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Commercial Availability

Too small Clothing, shoes and jewelry

Do not buy these, they are too small. I've replaced them many times on my Oakley glasses, never had a problem. I just broke my glasses trying to put on these stupid bits now I don't have a pair of sunglasses

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Requires a base

Too small and don't fit

I bought Oakley Earsocks in place of mine and they just don't fit. Not sure if there is a difference in production as there are a lot of positive reviews here, but I couldn't get it to work. No matter what I did, they wouldn't fit, and I had no intention of destroying my irreplaceable sunglasses.

Pros
  • Like everything else
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good for my Costa Mag!

I took a chance to see if they would work with my Costa sunglasses. And they worked! It took a little dish soap and saliva to get them on properly. I also used pliers to **gently** help them grab and put them on. After pulling them over the wider area, I carefully screwed in the flexible silicone grommets. Worked for me and now my mag bays hold my head a lot better!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
