🥑 Protect and Preserve with MSC International Clear Cover Avocado Pod, Green Review

I use this at work because I usually only use 1/2 avocado for breakfast. So I put the other half in here to use the next day. I don't think it works any better than any other utensil BUT it helps me to remember to save it for that as visually it's clearly an AVOCADO CONTAINER and I need little things like that to keep me on track :) Power it's definitely less brown than without Tupperware, but besides, there's no magic here.

I had another lemon container that looks like a real flat bottomed lemon. I liked it but it was difficult to open. I bought this because I saw that the bottom had an edge which I thought would be easy to pick up and take apart. It's really easy to take apart - a small price for a good piece of equipment - I highly recommend it - I wish they had made all vegetable holders like this - I also have an onion holder which is also very difficult to open as there's nothing to do is start

Update: Completely useless. I might as well put half an avocado in any small plastic container and get the same effect. Even with the addition of lemon juice, the avocado turned brown despite being face down on the bottom plate. Not impressed and definitely not worth the money. Haven't tried it with a large avocado, seems like that's what it's made for. There is plenty of extra space for smaller avocados.

I use about half an avocado in my cooking every day, so this product is a must! It's handy for me to have a container that's just for this one use (I used to use a small plastic bag the size of a snack). It does the job of keeping the avocado fresh enough, but I wouldn't leave it uneaten for up to three days. I have two complaints: 1. People have unrealistic expectations of these avocado preservers. There are numerous reviews in which the author complains that these devices do nothing better than a plastic bag. You're probably right, and the reason is that the storage mechanisms in the box and in this device are exactly the same.
