Hold the box! Suitable for ignition parts

The product was defective. I installed the product on my car and after a few days found that the product was defective which caused my car to over rev and idle. I returned the item without the box (because I threw away the box when I installed it, other than that it works). I find this bad because the company only refunded me $45 for a defective $85 product. Take the key with you, do not throw away the box as you will have to send it back.

Don't believe the haters

I've read a lot of reviews that these don't work. NOT CORRECT. It does. People don't research and even though it's on. You MUST upgrade the stainless steel base/mounting screws. Bearing bolts can affect grounding if they are galvanized or greased. Tap a hole to remove them and make sure you tighten them to the prescribed torque. Also, I would suggest changing the wires to 8-10mm so they work more efficiently.

had to return: coils

Boldt doesn't come with these and after calling MSD they said they no longer supply them. This was for my Mini Cooper and the original 4 bolts have a socket that won't come loose. This MSD ignition coil has bushings built into the bolt holes. Company Bolt. I went to a Mini Cooper dealership and paid twice as much for an original Mini Cooper coil and now my car runs great.

The amazing details are worth it. but screws must be included

I ordered 3 items to customize my Mini 05 R53. This is an MSD coil box, new NGK wires and platinum spark plugs. They arrived at different times but I was so excited to see if they would stop the gap I had in second gear. The plugs have arrived. Put them on and another test drive was amazing. For posters that claim there is no difference. Something else must be wrong as these 3 components make my '05 Mini S R53 drive like it came off the assembly line at 129,000 miles!

Great Coil Replacement for 2006 MINI Cooper S (R53)

This coil replaced my factory coil at 88,000 miles. This coil is originally a replacement for the Dodge Neon but due to the Chrysler based Tritec engine in the R50 and R53 MINI Cooper this coil will also fit. Please note that the bolt holes for this reel do NOT match the factory MINI reel bolts. . It's ok, it's been talked about a lot on the web and I knew about this problem before I bought it. There are 2 ways to solve this problem. #1 Replace the screws. I didn't go that route as the standard
