🍳 Enhanced MSR Quick 2 Cook Set System Review

This thing is EXPENSIVE to say the least. Amazon says the cups are "insulated with stainless steel," when the product packaging actually says "insulated plastic." We still saved the set to use for everything else. Very disappointed that Amazon considers plastic and stainless steel to be the same thing. Although the rest of the set looks promising. We'll find out when we go camping this summer.

I bought this pan with the MSR Flex Quick Skillet. It folds up very well and fits snugly in the pan. One pot is non-stick and the non-stick coating is good. Easy to clean and I easily use a plastic sponge covered with a scraper. The cooking set comes with only one handle, so the second from the pan for the second pot is handy. This system is great! There were 4 of us camping and as we wanted to eat from one pot this quick system 2 was more than enough for all of us. The pots heat up easily and feel solid (only used once with bamboo cookware) and the handle worked great. When unlocking the handle, care must be taken not to overheat it. The set is well built, fits perfectly and contains everything you need for comfortable cooking/dining for two whenever you like. It's easy enough to pack, although it takes up a lot of space. BUT, if you can camp or don't have any other items, or can even attach it to the outside of your backpack, don't worry. As always, MSR designed and built a great product with this kit. Quality camping crockery. I've used it to cook beans, fish, etc. The handle is very strong, as are the pots. I haven't used the cups but they seem very good too. I will use them on my next trip just to see how well they work. The bowls are great! Ideal for eating. The non-stick surface works great too. There were no problems with this. I have become a fan of MSR products. I have this cook set and a couple of their water conditioners and they have always worked great for me. Durable and lightweight including cups/mugs for coffee or whatever you prefer. Lids hold cups well and won't fall off.
