I bought these for a big raffle with about 40 prizes I collected. It was amazing, one of my favorites! A beautiful presentation and it was definitely a welcome joke among the guests. I plan to buy just one set for myself (didn't win - sad face).

Great all-rounder for slicing and chopping. I like the pen and how it feels in my hand. This will be the second butcher knife I've bought. My first, which I bought from IKEA, was well made and felt great in the hand. Got lost while moving and now I've bought the mentioned one.

It cuts my chicken bones like yogurt I can't wait to try ribs I'll update soon. but be careful, very sharp + very beautiful, I like it. update: after a few months of use (normal use) no traces of damage or even scratches, i used it mostly with tears and chicks. still looks like new, I dry it off with a towel every time I'm done.

First of all I would like to say that these knives are incredibly sharp and have a beautiful design. They cut the steak like butter. Just perfect buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu they rusted. This is so disappointing because these knives showed so much promise. We have been looking for replacement knives for a cheaper set for a long time and unfortunately this is not it.

I am happy with these knives. The only downside is that the 16° blade edge is much easier to accidentally dent or chip the edge. But with a 16° angled edge, vegetables and meat slice very thinly, which is nice. Make sure your knife sharpener can do 16° or use a stone. Dry immediately after cleaning to avoid water stains.

I bought a pair of these knives - one for cleaving bones and one for meat. The knife lies well in the hand and cuts excellently. I haven't had it long enough to comment on overall durability BUT the knife looks and feels solid. I would recommend this knife to anyone who is serious about preparing Chinese or other Asian food the traditional way.

About what you would expect for this price. They are presented discreetly in a protective box. In general the finca is not bad, there are a few spots on the cleaner that have not been washed off. They are very sharp right out of the box and feel good. The handles fit me well and are some kind of wood. Advertised as stainless steel but the magnet sticks to them which isn't the end of the world to me as they stick to the magnetic strip on the wall.
