Easy setup works best for computer components

I am using this KVM to access two Microsoft Windows servers. Server cables were included. Just plug in the video and USB connections to the server. Then connect your LCD monitor, USB keyboard and USB wired/wireless mouse to the KVM. Light. Switching back and forth is done at the touch of a button on the KVM. Sometimes I have to press enter to wake up the server. KVM cost less than $20 and came highly recommended.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Reasonable

Good compact KVM for 2 inputs

Works well. Since there are no illustrated cabling instructions, I'll add a few tips: Connect the two supplied VGA cables with USB connectors to the VGA ports on the switched PC, and then plug the other end of the VGA cable into one of the two KVM VGA inputs . Connect the USB connector of the Siamese cable to the USB port on the side of the PC. Repeat for the second PC. Then connect your moose and keyboard to the KVM's front USB ports. Is there an additional USB port for a flash drive or…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Almost never

Great compact KVM

Works great, supports decent VGA resolution, battery life, great price. Keep in mind that since they're self-powered, they don't offer hot-switching via keyboard command (which I think is because they reduce power requirements). On the other hand, I was able to connect a wireless mouse to any of the common USB ports and it works great. The instructions that came with it are useless. If you're not tech savvy, you might be a bit confused about what to connect where. I found that self-explanatory,

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Works with Linux and Windows!

Works out of the box without any problems so far! Tested with Linux and Windows and it works without problems. All of the following work for me plug and play. Share one monitor between two desktops. 2. Ability to share monitor and switch between desktops. 3. Connect a wireless keyboard and mouse to the USB port on the switch. And share it with both computers. The following operating systems have been tested and are plug and play: 1. Linux Mint 19.3 xfce x642. Ubuntu 16.04.6 Mate x643. Debian…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative impression

I wanted an IOGear KVM switch but when I tried to order it I was told that the item could not be shipped to my address. I live in Illinois. No explanation given. So I bought this one instead. It basically works. I have two computers that share a keyboard, monitor and mouse. The Linux display looks fine. The Windows display has a yellow cast. Everything is visible, but it looks like crap. I didn't switch cables to see what would happen as the Linux computer is the one I use the most and I can…

Pros
  • Few competitors
