These colors are rich and modern. I use this tape to easily distinguish cables and chargers from all members of our family. No more fighting over chargers!

Some muted dark colors. Blue is good, purple is good, green is ok, and orange is pretty good. Miscellaneous. I could live without.

For paper ribbon packaging, they seem to be of high quality as they don't tear easily and can be used as quite colorful ribbon. I mainly use them for decoration and attaching papers to my bullet journal.

One of the few items allowed in my daughter's dorm (even command hooks were no good in the "new" dorm), she used this tape to make decorative frames on her side closets and attach garlands in the privacy pop tent. The colors allowed her to add a unique style to her dormitory decor, rather than enhancing functionality. I wasn't expecting to get a box of dark colors - so dark I have to be in serious light to see at least half the colors. With the exception of red, all hues are also cloudy. To tell olive from gray I had to go to a lightbulb, then a few more, they are so close in tone. There's room for dark and/or dirty colors, but a box full of them is depressing, especially when the seller's picture shows them to be a lot more diverse.
