i had no problems with smell or anything. I took them out of my bag, they came about a week before I was going to use them and they were fine. It's a good gift bag for an end of year gift or teacher's day gift. I would buy them again

Good value for money. Yes, they have an odor, but it's the smell of a natural fiber like hemp or sisal. I took them out of the bag, sprayed them with Fibriz and let them air out for a day. After that they were fine again. Trust me I hate smelly things and am very sensitive to them. I put the teachers' names at the top to personalize it and voila, a personalized gift for teachers

Bought for my son's wonderful teacher as an "end of the year gift". I had it not long ago as it was a gift but as soon as I opened it I was LOVED! Much better done than I expected! Very thick, the handles are super nice and the print is great! and it was big and roomy! My son's teacher loved it! Cool tote bag! Great gift for a wonderful teacher!

I bought these bags as gifts for caregiver's daughters. They smelled awful when I took them out of the box. I hung them outside hoping that the first year would drive the smell away but unfortunately that didn't happen. I ended up having to wash them because I couldn't give them as badly as they did. I am very disappointed and will not buy them again.
