📜 Mudder 12 Antique Sealing Wax Sticks with Wick for Retro Vintage Wax Seal Stamp, Wine Red Review

I thought it should have been thin and liquid. Used in a Vacation Bible School to seal scrolls. The used paper was wrapped around the dowel and applied 8 drops. The wax is very liquid. Tried several times with different approaches and never had a good result. It's also difficult to stay lit.

Not very useful. Wax hardens very gently, so it is not suitable as a filling. It's easy to remove the seal intact and safe! The sealing wax must be brittle by design to prevent counterfeiting. This product is more like candle wax. If it's decorative or for kids then fine, but not for a seal.

First photo of unmelted sticks: In the middle this product, described as 'burgundy'. Left and right are two more stamps, both much redder. Second photo of melted seals: upper seal is one product, lower seal is another product. This product is an orange-bronze color, not at all like other red waxes I've bought from other sellers. Not as advertised, not what I wanted.

Be careful with this material. I took out a sheet of parchment paper to test it. The moment I lit the wick and started melting the wax, the hot wax fell onto the paper in small fireballs. They didn't light the paper, but they might. The wax will burn the paper if you don't erase it. The wick will also burn out inside the candle and you will have to cut open the top to expose enough wick to light it again. This product is a little dangerous and not a good buy.

Very easy to use. Light the fuse, hold the envelope or whatever you're sealing with wax, wait a few seconds, then press the stamp. (My son loves to just make a few swirls and call it good without a stamp.) Lovely colours, mine have been used very well as you can see. Beautiful colors, easy to use. at least until it's too small to hold (I used tweezers on the one that got too small to hold since I don't have a melting spoon). I am satisfied with this product. These waxes are beautiful colors, pictures on the internet don't do it justice. With the metallic colors you really see the shimmer. Nice big size. I've included a photo with a quarter for reference. Beautiful embossed pattern on the front of each wax. They came with a "Happy, Not Happy" insert with a QR code you can scan to get coupons for other Mudder products.
