I just got this new coffee grinder to replace one I've been using for years. I was concerned when I opened it because it doesn't appear to be deep despite being advertised as "large capacity". However, I was very happy when I threshed coffee for the first time. It processed whole grains quite well, ground even faster than our previous model, and ran a bit quieter. I'm glad we chose this grinder!

I use this grinder to make coffee every day and am very impressed with the performance of this little machine. It's a little workhorse that grinds coffee beans down to the right consistency for use in a French Press. I've used this to make finer powdered sugar and it worked too. It's a little tricky to clean, but without having too many removable parts, the only part that's fully dishwasher-safe is the lid. So far, wiping the inside between uses works well.

I think the muller's less powerful motor and the blade design and shape of the stainless steel container (bowl) help the muller produce a very even grind produced without much fine powder resulting in much less bitterness. It's very easy to know when the grind is complete just by listening to the sound coming from the muller. Every morning we brew 12 cups of coffee in the Cuisinart filter coffee maker, which for our taste requires 5/8 cups of ground coffee. Muller makes it easy to grind this…
