Good brand, good product. We simply chose the wrong size. Check the size before purchasing. It was a little big for what we needed.

I've been using ATF2 for soccer for many years and I needed a new one. Found out ATF2 was discontinued so I bought ATF3, works fine but not as good as ATF2. ATF2 fits better around the foot/ankle and provides better support.

So I don't know if my meal is narrower than average but there wasn't as much support even though my foot size matches my foot size. Diagram. The inner liner provided support, but the outer liner had air pockets when strapped to my ankle. It wasn't much of a problem when she had it on, but when the boot came off it had very little stability.

I injured my ankle earlier this summer and couldn't walk on it for a few months. I needed something to stabilize my leg once I could start bearing the weight. It works well. It also helps reduce swelling due to compression. The range of motion decreases when you lean forward, and this is normal. Side-to-side lateral movement is not totally immobile, but it is enough that the weakened ankle cannot roll off easily. I am satisfied and have bought another pair.
