Muff Pack Muffler Repacking Mufflers Review

Repackaging the IDS2 was a huge hassle but I didn't want to buy a new muffler so I put up with it. This kit was great and after repackaging the bike is quieter and performance has been improved.

Wow, I'm impressed. Not only the sound makes the difference. Finally a sound I can handle. But the contents of this kit were pretty amazing. Very comprehensive, it made the process simple and easy to have everything right in one box. It's a bit messy, but worth it given the results I've been able to get with just a baffle about 6 inches long. (yamerhammer r6 from 2005) gave it great tone and volume thanks to a straight pipe with a single muffler!

So I bought this muffler gasket kit to refresh the muzzy carbon fiber exhaust/muffler on my ZX-12R. saw this one. Everything you need is there and makes a very high-quality impression. This basically gives your bank 3 levels of protection. It's a big plus if the partition is wrapped with steel mesh, then covered with steel wool, THEN covered with a fiberglass mat. As I said above I have a carbon fiber can so all insulation is needed to protect the carbon from heat. My muffler sounds great again

I recently bought a used KLR650 with a Lexx muffler. It was louder than I like. If you like useless noise, Lexx is for you. I decided to remove and repackage. Lex says "every 25 hours" 😳? For real? I found this muff and hoped it would at least last longer than the standard fiberglass only package. Installation was easy. Tightly twisted and installed the screen. Heavy steel wool on top.
