Shakes, rattles and rolls

Constantly falling out of the socket. Due to its weight or size, it is constantly shaking and moving. You have to constantly put it back in place.

Left with windows down

Couldn't write a review until the machine was shut down. Unfortunately it was on a warm day with the window open. And it didn't work, so I'd say it's defective. Bought for the winter when the windows are open. I wouldn't buy this again.

Great job on version 2.0

The first one I ordered had connection problems. I complained to the manufacturer and they listened! They sent me a new and improved model and it works GREAT. It's been running for over 3 weeks now. Thank you for listening to your customers. Excellent support.

DOA, well then! in Chargers & Adapters

The first one I received was dead on arrival but Revain was quick to send a replacement which has worked great so far. Of course I have no idea if the detector part works, but this one lights up and charges my phone quickly when plugged in. I've noticed that it doesn't always stay fully plugged in, but I think it's more due to my car plug than the device, so I'm happy.

Must have for many

Bought because our car had a serious CO2 issue for the brand (Ford Explorer). It beeps on initialization, which bothered me at first, but I found that it was initializing when the car started (every time it starts, FYI). We had a CO2 boost horn and were glad we had it. This product is essential if you have an older car or model that is having a similar problem as mine.

ALL vehicles can leak carbon monoxide.

After more than $20,000 worth of hospital testing, I finally realized that I almost passed out while driving due to a carbon monoxide leak. Google it. The Ford Explorer is the worst. Many law enforcement agencies purchase this model for their sub-fleets. Four police officers died in their brand new vehicles due to a carbon monoxide leak. This is a "must have" item for every car. I bought a pair as stockings for Christmas.

Instructions not accurate

I think this works as it beeped as expected in the presence of high CO, however no red light came on during the beeping. In addition, as shown in the figure, the yellow light is barely visible and does not flicker. It looks like the yellow-red light is meant to illuminate the ring on the front of the device, but there's no way of knowing as the pictures in the instructions don't show the location of the light source. Zero trust and poor quality.

It's hard and makes me believe that the emergency broken glass feature can be triggered when needed but the main reason I bought it was to warn my family about carbon monoxide and it there is no space on the packaging where this feature is mentioned. which should be advertised as that is the main purpose of this device. Does what it should.

I travel all the time. I often sleep in the car. Sometimes, not often, I turn on the heating or air conditioning when the car is parked. I've had exhaust leaks in the past. I never fall asleep when the car is running, but whether there is carbon monoxide present – of course I want to know that.
