It's heavy enough to look and feel real, but it's clearly not solid metal (or it's metal-coated plastic). I wouldn't push this too hard, but it's good to throw a dress over it to give it a party shape, which is all I really want. My round locket chain shows a woman's face. This belt is very cute but cheap and VERY poorly made. I can understand the use of cheap materials but is it supposed to stay in place?
