🔧 Klein Tools MM300 Multimeter - Digital Voltmeter, AC/DC Voltage Meter, Current and Resistance Tester with Battery Tests, Diodes, Continuity - Up to 600V Review

I needed a simple gauge to test my process control system at a construction site. This corresponds to the account on paper. When it was first used to measure AC voltage it jumped everywhere, over 200 volts, under 100 volts. Brought my old fluke and it read a solid 120. Not recommended.

No other way to test accuracy but I'm sure it's good enough for my purposes. I mainly use it to check circuits and batteries in my RV and boat. It's easy to use and has good long wires for testing. I prefer this manual voltmeter to the automatic range.

This is my first time using a small meter and I really like it. I mainly use sockets at home and batteries in the garage, which work perfectly. The body of the gauge is very well made, so I don't worry if I drop it. But I wish there were extra fuses in case I need them.

I had mine for school for a few weeks. During that time I got to read the stream once, and it was a happy coincidence. It will read about 0.06 at 10A, when you first turn it on it's 0.00 for everything. My circuits are defective and the fuses are not blown. I thought that might be the problem and now I've invested $40 in fuses! Cheap product, invest in a good one, don't skimp on face value.

Continuity test and diode test range failed. makes a continuity warning (too slow) after a few seconds, but then keeps that pathetic tone until you change range elsewhere. The diode test shows the voltage before connection. Other areas seem very accurate and the build is great, but the lack of continuity and diode testing is a deal breaker.
