Mungyo Gallery Artists Oil Pastels Review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can honestly say that these oil pastels are a waste of money. The colors are dull and the consistency is dry and clumpy. However, on the positive side, they do blend well with other brands of pastels. But overall, I would not recommend these for any serious artist LOOKING for high-quality results..

These colorful oil pastels work wonders for all Arts and Crafts enthusiasts! The pigments are vibrant and blend like butter on various surfaces .You can layer them upon each other seamlessly, making their blending abilities matchless. The one downside is that they can easily smudge due to their soft nature, so a fixative spray is a must. But overall, these pastels are a great buy for anyone who wants to create stunning masterpieces with ease..

Love everything about this brand except Sennelier which can be a little too soft for the first few layers. Mungyo is my working pastel, I draw at least 90% of my work with it. They're a bit harder than sennas, which is good, they're easier to layer and are the softest for finishing touches. The metallics are great and I recommend getting the fluorescent kits as well.
