🧼 Murphy's Original Formula Oil Soap Liquid - 16 oz, Pack of 2 - by Murphy Oil Review

Bottles supplied say 'Original Formula' but the new formula clearly states and the product appears to be diluted compared to what was previously sold. Disappointing.

I have purchased this product and used it for many years. I dilute it in a bucket of warm water and swam across the wooden floor without worrying about damage. I also use it to clean some of the terracotta floor tiles I have in my bathroom. I love this product because it cleans without being too harsh. Of course, you never want water to stand on a wooden floor. Always remove excess with a sponge together with the dirt.

I had high expectations as everyone was raving about Murphy Oil. I first used it on my dark wood floor, although it removed dirt (at least my mop looked dirty; I hope it wasn't a stain), my floor now looks dull. I went to their official website, there are many complaints about the new improved formula that it is not as good as the original including stupidity. I have no idea if the product I received is original or improved, but I have a feeling that it is new. This is certainly not the same…

I would give it five stars except it doesn't shine that much on the floor. Yes, it cleans it up, which it definitely will, but no, it doesn't leave an amazing shine. I was supposed to use another one product that doesn't clean as well but makes it shinier so I basically alternate between the two... If your hardwood floors are dirty and your first task is to get them spotless clean this will definitely help. ... I suggest you also find another product that leaves a strong shine.

My review is based on not receiving the product I ordered. I ordered the original formula and received a new and improved one. From what I've read, the new and improved is no better than the original. The original formula has never let me down. I hope that won't happen either. I'll let you know after I've cleaned my closets.

For some reason I didn't realize how small the bottles were. Great product and love how it works. Next time I'll buy larger sizes for convenience.

I use it on my vinyl and laminate floors. Others use different products, but the smell and slight shine are really good for me
