Technique is pretty clearly marked on the arm weight. This showed that Technics was 1.5 grams behind. This worked to align the two cartridges but does not flash 'full', scrolls through the gauge options and reads 3.0 grams after I zeroed it and dropped the attached 5g weight documenting that it's at least 1.7 grams when it works. Order something else as my TT stylus is very expensive and I can't risk ruining them with a cheap sensor.

I took out my double turntable, cleaned it and bought a new pickup. I checked the cartridge tracking force with this gauge and the Dual's mechanical settings were accurate. It was perfectly calibrated right out of the box and my turntable stylus was set to the correct balance in seconds! Works just like one of those 4x prizes.
