Very simple and cool. It's a flat plate made of heavy plastic, flexible and easy to clean. In size, shape and material, it resembles a quality napkin. I vacuum and swam as needed. It protects your floor from splashing water and marks the dining area for your dog or cat. I like it! Good quality product, especially at a great price.

We have tiles in the kitchen and a grumpy old lady instead of a dog who likes to carry dishes to let us know when she is not happy. This resulted in dog food often covering half the kitchen floor.
