Not sure what others are saying but it's a great set and very reasonably priced. I found the perfect option for refinishing floor moldings that were covered in layers of paint that I would otherwise replace.

Haven't used them yet but received them today and noticed the bevel is on the back of most of the notches. It's on the concave side, which makes it very difficult to sharpen. This is a very unusual side for a bevel.

Got them and everything was a mess. A) they weren't even the tad sharp B) the bevel on the cutting edge was insanely crooked C) extremely soft metal, not hardened or not hardened at all drove the file and it got stuck right there. The same day I received these, I threw them away and bought a better one.

Pros - they were a good size and shape and the handles fit my hands perfectly anyway. The delivery was quick enough and they were well packaged. My only real issue with them was how boring they are. I only gave them one star for beginners because if anyone needs sharp tools they are beginners as they tend to have trouble sharpening them without ruining them.

Just received this chisel set and am very happy with the quality. I've read reviews of them being dull, sharpened on the wrong side, etc. Mine came out sharp, sharpened exactly how I wanted and looks very good quality. As a precaution, I only paid about $20 for them. I understand that they were made in China and are relatively mild carbon steel so they probably won't hold a blade like higher grade steel. And they will rust if I let them. But. I think it's great for my purpose and I'm very happy
