Previous reviews mentioned that the screws are too short. I have no problem with the screw length. There were some issues with the screws going into the holes. The holes on the legs are open, but the holes on the tables are sealed and require some pressure on the screws. Once the screws were fully seated, they seemed secure and happy.

Cons: The wood is not treated so if you put anything on the wood it will soak. For $60 it seems a little crazy. My son suggested wrapping it in plastic or some sort of topper but I find it ridiculous to spend money just to cover the top to keep the wood in good condition? I will return the product and find something new. Pro - Very light, nice frame, well assembled, screws seem fine, very nicely packaged. The size is perfect. PS - My son just found a similar item for $35 with a waterproof top -

I couldn't believe that after all these reviews mentioning screws that were too short, they YET have not solved this problem. I'm furious - I don't have the skills or tools to fix this myself and now when I try to get this to work I have a spreadsheet that is almost unusable. I ordered this because the only one from IKEA had a glass top. I should have read the other reviews first as the screws were really too short. I also had one of the black frame screws screwed in so badly that it got stuck in the part. I had to take it to a hardware store and luckily they made me throw it out (hello top notch hardware). I replaced the small screws (1 5/8 length was perfect) and a large screw and it worked. Luckily I only spent $1.50 on the screws but wasted maybe an hour going…
