Quality product, well made and built to last. Works well for antenna static, solved my antenna electrical problems with static electricity and lightning.

Installation as a passage in a steel building. The strength of the antenna doesn't really seem to differ with or without it, so it seems to offer protection without much signal loss, ie it seems to do the job as advertised.

Garbage - high insertion loss

I believe this thing has variable impedance, but I don't have a $100,000 S-parameter test kit to prove it. What I do know is that when this cheap Chinese PoS clone is inserted into the antenna line, I can't receive anything above 750MHz. If an identical looking (how about!) spark gap from a well-known brand is substituted in their place, the same signals will pass easily. It has a central through pin to the center pin. It is open from the center pin to the body. 6GHz?!? Do not make me laugh. DO
