This coat is perfect for my dog. The detachable hood is handy when you need it and detachable when you don't. I love the faux fur around the hood and hem of the jacket. That's great!

This coat is too cute! It's thick, durable and my dog loves it. It's not waterproof. I like the look and color of my dog. She likes this coat very much. It is true to size. I ordered an LG for my Shih Tzu. She weighs 13 1/2 pounds.

Size xs fits my #6 chi mix very well! The fleece lining is nice and cozy and the snaps are easy to use. I like the hood and that it is detachable. The only downside is that there is no hole or slot to attach the leash to the harness under the coat, but you can thread the leash through the hole where the hood detaches. My dog looks so cute and warm! :)

Holy dog paws! It's a big, big, little coat. I have a Mountain Feist (a farm squirrel dog) that has a very fine coat. He is somewhat similar to JRT but has longer legs and sleeps more. When he goes outside he gets so cold (his sister is new and doesn't need a jacket) he freezes and wants to go inside. This jacket not only looks great, full and plump, but also very warm for him. As you can see, does he like it? Worth every penny. I have XXXL for him. Fits perfectly.

I can't say enough good things about this coat. It is very warm and very well made. The hood comes off when it gets too hot. Pay attention to the sizes in the description, measure your dog carefully and everything will be fine. I have XXL for my two dachshunds (26lb and 19lb) and XL for my 11lb poodle and they fit the space perfectly. to save a sweater underneath. If you want to keep your pup warm, get this coat.
