Guaranteed to embarrass you reading this book in public

I bought this book for my wife for Christmas and then had to sit and be jealous when she giggled, giggled , snorted and roared her way through this book. When she finished the book and gave it to me to read, I now knew what she was laughing at. Sedaris' antics with his dysfunctional Greek-American family are guaranteed to make you laugh. Good memoir but not so funny book

I stood naked on my shelf for at least a year before I decided to read it. I have a bad habit of not reading books after I've bought them, so that shouldn't surprise me. As a memoir, The Nude is an incredibly good collection of autobiographical essays. As you make your way through Naked, you just don't believe in the dysfunctional Sedaris family.
