Possibly a savior!

When I was diagnosed with skin cancer on my right arm (from being a passenger in a car) I was scared. You use a pack of this product for normal loads.

You use one carton of this product for regular loads and two for extra heavy loads. If you soak your clothes in the sink, use 1/2 pack. It won't work on polyester or acrylic fabrics, so if you have cotton/poly blend clothing it probably won't offer full protection. Also, do not use bleach. A couple of issues I encountered were that the wash water temperature had to be at least 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the wash cycle had to be set at a minimum of 15 minutes. I use this on my family's cotton clothes for extra sun protection as recommended by my dermatologist. I was worried it might stain my clothes or irritate my son's skin - neither!
