We bought this for our two boys so they can spend time with us on our balcony. You love the inside. On the balcony they only use it if it's left open - the zipper seems to scare them a little so they can only use it when we're next to them. It came with a hole in the seam above. I unexpectedly adopted a 4 week old cat who was abandoned and had to take her to work for about a week. Not sure if I would always be able to stick it out when work came, I wanted a tent to pitch there for a while, just in case. It worked great! It was lightweight, easy to carry, and came with a holdall.
