Is this legal? All the paint peels off me the first time I use it, leaving my hands blue and white. I have no idea what Nalgene quality is?

You have to squeeze out all the crap to squeeze out the liquid, too hard. In addition, the valve is completely clean, so you get mold. Throw it away.

Bottle design is good. It doesn't leak. But no matter how you clean or handle this bottle, the bottled water will have an unpleasant plastic taste for more than half an hour. I expected more from Nalgene.

Bought several of these for training, bikes and SUP. I like the blue pen. I attach it to my SUP or just pull the bottle out of my bike water bottle cage. No plastic taste, tight lid, dispenser with lock. Everything works great.

Pros: This is a good Nalgene bottle, plastic is quite strong, water has no off-taste or plastic taste. Also the top rotates to open or close the valve. Fits well in my bike's bottle cage. Cons: The only thing I have is that the valve doesn't pass water very well. A lot of compression is required to hold any type of water compared to Purist brand bottles. Sometimes I just unscrew the cap and drink from the top

I have a new bike with a standard water bottle cage that doesn't fit my insulated steel water bottle, my Nalgene hard plastic water bottles, or my coffee mugs, generally. But it was built after a standard bike water bottle, so it fits perfectly. It also has a nice Nalgene jet to drain water when I want it and store it when I don't want it spilling all over my backpack or me when I'm out. This is exactly what I wanted and needed.
