I've had several Nalgene's over the years and this one is no different. Its color corresponds to the description, it holds liquid, I can drink from it without any problems. Sometimes when I'm carrying too much stuff I wrap my hat strap around my finger and can wear it like this - awesome!

I have both wide and narrow mouth bottles. It's true that a narrow mouth is easier to drink, but it's absolutely difficult to empty. When I wash both bottles with soapy water, I use three times as much water to rinse out the narrow bottle as soap bubbles are difficult to get out of the inside of the bottle.

Nice strong bottle. I like the smaller opening which is big enough to get a large drink. This bottle is for those who find it difficult to drink pure water. No lemon, no ice. Old water only. I love this piece and just carry it with me everywhere. Also works great on my bedside table at night. The perfect bottle.

I've had 4 of these in the last few years. The only reason I have to buy new ones is because I keep losing them! I prefer them to metal bottles which give the water an odd taste. Their only downside is that they're quite wide and don't fit in cup holders, which can be a little annoying at the gym, but it's not a big deal.

I've been using Nalgene for years and have always had wide mouth bottles but without a splash guard they can easily spill. I like the narrow neck. it makes drinking easier and at the same time easy to clean with a bottle brush. They are great for hiking or backpacking and you don't have to worry about them being beaten up. In addition, they do not overheat the water on a hot day.

I bought this a few months ago but have only used it twice so far. My New Year's resolution is to drink more water, so I got this bottle out yesterday for regular use. But after examining this bottle, I found out that it is NOT BPA-free! It is true? If so, I don't want it and wouldn't have bought it if I had known about it beforehand. The bottle is well made, the color is bright, it's easy to fill and use. I bought 16 oz and 32 oz of the same color. After a few days, the container started to smell like mold. Every day I emptied, cleaned and refilled with new water. We use Poland Spring jugs to fill it and when I poured this water into another cup, it didn't smell like mold. The product is the same as advertised. Arrived in shrink wrap under the neck but covered the rest of the bottle. Slight "new" flavor but nothing overwhelming. It smelled like factory stuff. I immediately washed the bottle with hot water and dish soap. Now it doesn't smell anymore. I used to have a Nalgene Wide Mouth but wasn't a big fan because of the lid.
