Don't buy this if you expect the same amount of sound from two speakers. I don't know what it is, but the sound quality was terrible.

I bought this to add extra cymbals to my Alesis electric drum kit. It works great for what I need it for and I can't say the sound quality differs from my other cymbals and drums.

This doesn't split the TRS into two TS channels - it splits the T (tip) into two copies and discards the R (ring ) Completely . Calling it a "breakthrough" is misleading. Not useful if you want to split the stereo headphone jack into two stereo mono inputs on a mixer.

I got this for using headphones while recording. While the recording sounds good, the headphones connected to this converter sound very unbalanced on the two channels. It basically sounds like most of the sound is coming from one earbud and the other is very quiet.

I bought this unit thinking it was left/right stereo. I was wrong. It splits the signal into two stereo channels. This product does exactly what it's intended to do, so I won't dismiss it for my fault. If you want to split your stereo signal into left and right signals, this adapter is not for you.

This works as intended if you want the same stereo output from both 1/4 jacks. I mistakenly thought that this connector would split the stereo signal into left and right channels to feed two left and right speakers. Therefore, both speaker channels sum the stereo signal to reproduce monophonic sounds. Buy a suitable splitter if you don't want to repeat my mistake.

The patch cord looks solid enough, but lacks a label identifying the right and left jacks. Others use color coding to identify which 1/4 inch plug connects to the 3.5mm plug tip and which connects to the ring. The lack of markings or color coding means the correct connection is made by trial and error.
