replaces stock filters with the same NAPA part number. The sealing ring has been enlarged compared to the original. Pull the o-ring out of the new stem to seal the filter.

As usual, NAPA filters are well designed (usually made by Wix), and this one is no exception. I haven't installed it yet and am a bit concerned that its gasket is loose and not stuck like most rotary filters. Reviews read elsewhere indicate that some people have had trouble using this pad. I plan to continue after installation later this year.

I bought this because NAPA is a reliable brand. I also bought this for a gasket/seal. The product did not include any printing as shown in the product thumbnail. UPDATE: I'm speaking to a 'Blondee Wholesale' seller and they tell me 'it's attached to the bottom' and it's not. I need to install this filter soon and will not wait a week for a decision on this and instead be forced to request a return/refund.

The filter canister had a dent from a previous installation and actually became a leak. I have NEVER had a filter leak. Also for a filter this large NAPA should give you something to grab or a power plug for ease of removal/installation. There is room for improvement. Good - it was wrapped in plastic to keep it clean and with a thin gasket. which I don't use for my application. If you need a wider shim you will have to order that separately, but I was able to reuse the shim on my filter…
