Great Foil Tape for RV Maintenance

I stumbled upon this tape while doing some automotive maintenance on my RV. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I knew that a reliable sealant was necessary to protect the RV from damage. This product did not disappoint! It was easy to apply, adhered well to the surface, and provided a strong and long-lasting seal. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey compared to other sealants on the market.

Pros
  • Provides excellent adhesion to most surfaces and is highly resistant to weather and temperature changes.
Cons
  • Requires proper ventilation during application due to strong odor.

Excellent glue. Easy to use.

Excellent holding power. I will update my review once the cold season is over. But I don't see any effect of humidity. Good product!

Pros
  • This tape has an aggressive butyl mastic adhesive, provides instant water and air tightness, is moisture and solvent resistant, and is SMACNA compliant 0.5", 1", 2", 3", 4", 6". up to 10 inches water column in the pressure classes and sealing classes A, B and C.
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

My Favorite Sheet Metal Tape Brand

My favorite brand of sheet metal tape. If you use this brand of tape to install air vents and dryer vents, it works well and can withstand pretty high temperatures. Holds very well and can be removed and repositioned.

Pros
  • Nashua 367-17 FoilMastic butyl sealing tape exhibits excellent resistance to mold, moisture, flame spread, smoke and high temperatures. Please note that Nashua 367-17 and Polyken 367-17 are the same product manufactured by Berry Plastics. Therefore, the tape reel core may be marked Nashua or Polyken depending on current stock levels.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
