It's hard to rate a product like a disinfectant. The product seems to do exactly what it is supposed to disinfect. I own my own Meadry and use this product to sanitize my primary fermenters, bottles and anything that comes in contact with meadry. I've never had a batch spoiled by bacteria/mold so I believe all bad things die. It is recommended that the contact time of the iodophor/water mixture is 2 minutes, I usually increase this time to around 5 minutes just in case.

If you need an iodophor, this is a great iodophor. But if you're a home brewer (and you probably are, judging by this article) you don't need an iodophor. They want Star-san. I switched a few years ago and now brewing is much easier.

I trust Iodofor Hygiene. I know it kills almost all germs that will stop at nothing to kill my drink. Guess what. This stuff works! I soak my gear for 30 minutes to an hour. I think the recommended exposure time is 10 minutes. But actually I'm in no hurry and I'm absolutely sure that the iodophor kills the bad guys.
