We had a lot of fun with this set. Sometimes my daughter wanted to hammer slowly (and the chisel with this set, like all tools, is excellent). In those moments where she was more likely to open up or chip larger pieces, we wet the plaster and it became like creamy clay at its wettest state and was just easier to chisel/cut and less likely to smudge with water from the Brush chipped or peeled off its surface.
