Did the job at Industrial Hardware

Received a perforated board and am overwhelmed by the selection at the hardware store. This varied pack makes a great starter kit and maybe someday I can return to the hardware store with certain add-ons. The only downside is that the listing doesn't include item inventory, so I took a picture of the listing and added it to the image section.

Pros
  • Chic design
Cons
  • No instructions

Simply good. best hooks

They have changed since my last purchase (a few years ago). In my photos, the old and new perforated metal hooks are next to each other; The new hooks are much thinner. This is not a problem for hooks with multiple attachment points. but for single hooks this results in a very weak connection with the perforated plate. When you remove the instrument from the fretboard, the hook with the instrument usually comes off.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Negative impression

Good quality - lots to choose from

This Stanley set is of better quality than the competition from Neiko. And the best selection. I wouldn't trade that for three sets of Neiko. These Stanley hooks are well made - constant quality control - they work well - all of them. Also includes 3 dozen small plastic "fasteners" that hold the hooks to the perforated panel. See image to the right for QUANTITY of each hook type - a scan of product packaging.

Pros
  • Lots of positive feelings
Cons
  • Nothing here

Poor Production Best Hooks

Incredibly Bad. The holes on the perforated plate are 2.5 cm apart. On these two-prong hooks, the distance between the prongs varies from 15/16" to 1-1/16", meaning some will fit and some (most) will not without the use of pliers. Hooks with a stabilizing pin have a different RTD - the stabilizing pin is larger in diameter than the main hook and also larger than the hole in the rosette. It takes a fair amount of force to get it into position. It's really hard to imagine how they could mess up…

Black plastic stabilizer hook

My wife ordered these for me to organize my tools. As soon as they arrived, like everyone else, I was confused by the little bits of black plastic. However, after a bit of research, I found that they made the wobbly and unstable hooks very stable and almost impossible to accidentally fall out. After knowing the purpose of the black plastic parts and using them correctly, I was so amazed by the result that I decided to write my first review on Amazon. I've attached a few photos, a close-up of…

Parts only 1/8 " diameter

I am new to the world of die plates. I bought this kit to get started with die plates. Details are ok, they fit 1/8" and 1/4" perforated sheet metal. However, the parts themselves are only 1/8" in diameter, so be careful if you're putting them in a perforated plate with 1/4" holes like I did. The black holders work well, to attach parts to a perforated panel; however, I would like them to be a larger 1/4" in diameter for an even better fit. The difficulty with black fasteners is that they don't

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Fits

I would give 4.5 stars.

This is basically what I expected and a little bit more. I got a 3/16 4x8 footpeg board from a home store (15) and bought this set. I figured I'd have to buy another set to get all my stuff together because I thought the '51' was overpriced including the little black holders, but there are actually 51 separate pieces for the holding tools. Basically, filling the entire 4x5 space (I only had room for one 4x5) with a few leftovers was enough. In terms of quality, there is a star deduction here. A

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Quick start guide

1/4 Plate and No Questions Asked

Ordered after reading reviews. I give it 5 stars because of the price and the scope of delivery. That is a lot. Several posters have written about problems using 1/8" parts on 1/4" boards. I have 1/4 and I don't see this as a serious problem. They contain black plastic parts that you can insert into the pegboard to stabilize any problematic hooks. Since nobody mentioned how to use them, tuck the ends into the breadboard and against the hook you're working with. The fit isn't always precise…

Pros
  • For use in garages, sheds, workshops and basements
Cons
  • Crumpled

It's good for displaying tools, not for tool users.

They may fit if you have a 1/8" hole board but not if you have a 1/4" board to have . I understand that the plastic pieces are meant to help hold the pieces to the 1/4 board, but using them is impractical and frankly unnecessary. I bought this set after buying a 26 piece set from a local $5 box. made for 1/4" hole boards. There is a big difference in quality and how they hold onto the board. Parts made for a 1/4" board hold tight and don't pull out when you remove tools and they don't need…

Pros
  • Made for 1/8" and 1/4" boards
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great use of my pegboards

We moved into our home about seven years ago. When we moved in, there were two boards hanging on the walls in the garage. I didn't pay them much attention until my tool collection ran out of storage. find things without trying to remember where they are stored (or hidden). Much easier to put the tools back after I'm done. The tools look neat and tidy. Otherwise they would not be used. Hangers come in a variety of shapes and are easy to attach to a perforated board. The hangers can be moved…

Pros
  • Perfect for storing tools, brushes, extensions and exercise equipment

  • Slightly torn
