Worst Baseball Ever!

Worst hitting ever! It was like working with cotton candy. It came off and tore while working with it. Fibers flew in all directions. It was so thin I had to use it in 2 layers. I will never buy again! I usually use Warm and Natural, but they weren't available in time to complete my project. I'll definitely stock up now.

Pros
  • Assembly not sliding, no beard. Attention: prewash is forbidden. Machine wash after quilting.
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Read the fine print and reviews

It can all come down to your preferences. But it was difficult for me to work with this material. Tiny random fibers (not cotton) got into everything. I had to invest in some lint brushes. I have used it in my patchwork projects. As a quilter I cannot recommend it. You can try asking the company for a sample before you buy so you don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Sew
Cons
  • Expensive

Incredibly fragile item for striking

Be careful with this strike. It does not contain canvas, the layer necessary to hold the fibers together. The result is the most brittle batting I've used in 30 years of quilting. Holes appear at the slightest stress. Imagine the pizza dough is too thin and therefore full of holes. If I had known that, I would have used flannel for my Florida blanket instead of this batting. Carefully!

Pros
  • Arts & Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not strong, good for quilting

I bought this product because I needed a very thin batting for countertops etc. I just used them in a little quilt with lots of black! What a mess. The fibers are very loose and ended up all over the blanket. Then, when I was done sewing, I attempted to remove any accumulated lint and debris from it with a rotary lint. That's when I discovered that the cotton can also see through the black fabric. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I used to buy thin cotton wool and it didn't behave…
