This sand worked well for my needs but I found it was too fine. So if you are looking for some great fine sand then look no further. I used the sand for the ocean and beach themed wood and clay vignettes I made for a friend's going away party. You turned out beautiful!

This sand is harder than the malleable sand used in most Zen gardens. However, it has a more realistic feel of beach sand. There is a slight shimmer that reminds me of the beach. I bought 2 packs but one had a lot. I will use the second one for another project. I highly recommend this product.

This is sand. It has a very sandy quality as it is sand. Basically, I'm looking for sand that doesn't contain insects, that doesn't smell or look bad. This sand does everything! It might be a little pricey, but it comes in an adorable paper bag. It holds my incense sticks very well. I really don't expect much from him and he really lives up to all those expectations.

Just what I wanted to fill my censer. Good sized packs with enough stock to refill when the time is right. Very pleasant natural sand interspersed with mica. BUT very disappointed with the packaging. A foil-lined paper bag with a zip-top lid would be ideal for storing sand, as long as it doesn't eventually rupture in transit. Everything in the box was covered with sand. I don't know how much I've lost. Not to mention the extra cleaning.
