This is by far my favorite comb and I have several. However, be careful with any sandalwood comb as it can be easily damaged. Don't carry your comb in your pocket (or notebook) with keys or coins. They seem to inevitably mate between the comb's teeth, which become brittle when pulled apart. Carry a comb with a pocket full of junk and your teeth are bound to crack. Otherwise, the combs are extremely durable.

I bought this as an 'I support you baby' gift for my boyfriend when he was growing his hair out so this review was written by written to both of us. Really nice heavy duty durable comb. The teeth are rounded, do not scratch the scalp. Beautiful wood grain. Dear thin teeth, almost as thin as a flea and lice comb. With proper care it will last for many years. EDIT: The more I use this comb, the more I like it. The smell got stronger with use. I got curious and counted the teeth - 75 (seventy-five!) about 4 1/8 inches apart. No wonder this is one of the most popular sandalwood combs at Revain.
