Slowed down the effects of dust in the house. I wiped it every other day, now I can wipe it every two weeks. However, it's not very good at keeping the smell of food in the atmosphere.

We are smokers. Stink is something we've learned to live with, but these attractive activated charcoal bags will help filter out the smell of cigarette smoke while still looking good. Nobody notices them for what they are.

We used these after the fridge had been out of service for a week or more. I had to clean the fridge but the stench stayed. I put them in my freezer and they helped me a lot to complete the order. You take them out and leave them in the sun for an hour, then you can reuse them.

It is a job to constantly move them so that the sun gives them an hour every day. If I had good sunlight that would be nice. In the room where the sun shines, there is definitely less dust. If I had known they would take 1 hour in the sun I would not have bought them. It should be in the description. It won't work for a working professional this time of year with fewer hours of sunshine. BUT 1 room. Is good. So I think this will work for someone who wants sunlight streaming into their home.

I was very skeptical about this product. I put 1 (large) in the changing room where my smelly dog sleeps. He likes it there, so I'm not kicking him out. After only 2 days the room started to smell of cleanliness. I even got my friend to come in and sniff. Sounds weird, but you get used to the smell. She said she smelled like nothing, which is absolutely true.

I think I expected these bags to greatly improve the smell in our car which we just bought from a friend who was a smoker would. I'm still waiting. It may take longer before you notice an improvement. But the quality of the bags is good. I love the fact that I can freshen up my bags by laying them out in the sun.

I left them in the sun for an hour before use as recommended before putting them in two cat boxes (which hang behind plastic boxes in wooden cat houses) and two bathrooms (the door stays next to the toilets) . They were in place for about a week and it took several days for the difference to be noticed. But things didn't go so well after rain or on wet days. So I can't give a perfect rating for effectiveness, I still need unscented candles. I can't stand perfume so I was really hoping this…
