Highly recommended for sensitive stomachs

This salmon food helped a lot with my boxer's sensitive stomach. The price is a bit higher but it's worth it. He has more accidents around the house and his bowel movements are harder. The bags have never broken and always seem fresh. I highly recommend. I am a real person and I did NOT receive this item with a discount instead of a positive review. If you click "helpful" at the bottom of this review, the "real" reviews will move up. Thanks in advance.

As you notice in my picture there are two of them.

If you see in my picture there are two different colors. The dark food is the food I got from Revane and the light food is the food I bought from the grocery store. It's the same food brand. My dogs didn't like dark food, but they ate light food. I was curious so tried to bite both and found it very difficult to buy the darker food while the lighter food practically crumbled when I took a bite. I bought 2 packs of these from Revain and both were so dark.

  • Good product for the price

Recipe changes?: Food

Been using it for 4 years now. Now, in the last year, the dog food seems to be darker and our dogs like it less. Then this month one dog has itching and the other has diarrhea. Based on some online boards, the recipe seems to have changed when Smucker's bought the brand. Also, some dogs, like our dogs, have had recent problems with the latest batches of food. I don't know where to find the truth. So, post here in hopes of getting people's attention. Unfortunately our dogs loved this food. Nowโ€ฆ

  • Hard to say

You don't think to inspect the food as soon as you open the package but when I filled the small container I use I noticed little white/brown specs on the stick and thought it was part of the meal then I go get it and it's spicy! I kept looking closely at the rest of the food and it's almost half the bag! I always leave the food in warm water to help my dogs digestion, if I didn't it would cut their insides and cause serious health problems. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. It should be withdrawn andโ€ฆ

Sick dog Bad food What has changed?

We've always been fed Revain Nature's Recipe cereal for free Subscribe and save. Recently our dog started itching and chewing one front leg until an ulcer formed. A week later he wakes up lethargic and partially paralyzed. Our vet diagnosed gastrointestinal inflammation, urinary tract infections, high fever and severe allergic reactions. With the antibiotic and prescribed diet, our dog has started eating, drinking and walking, but he is still itchy and chewing to the point of beingโ€ฆ

Like when she doesn't get what she gets.

I have a boxer lab mix with a VERY sensitive stomach. For example, if she takes something wrong, she gets flatulence and diarrhea for a few days. Terribly bad. Anyway, I've been feeding her Purina Sensitive Stomach for years and all of a sudden from her excitement the fur started shedding and then went bald! She is a 5. I did some research and found that Purina's diet contained corn and this reaction was normal in dogs with corn allergies. So I did some more research and came across this brand.

Does your dog have arthritis, knee or hip problems?

We have switched two of our pit bulls to this food. One is allergic to grains, the other is allergic to beef and chicken. Our immature puppy was only two years old when he was diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in both knees. It was heartbreaking and we looked at surgeries and more. Long story short, we haven't had to do Sergurie yet as the omega-3 levels in this product got her up and moving again. She used to be unable to climb stairs, now she can't! Couldn't be happier! Quality dog โ€‹โ€‹food; Shortened Shelf Life

After three months of continuous use, my Boston Terrier's skin and coat is much healthier after switching to him from Blue Buffalo's Basics. He had a hard time adjusting to this dog food at first due to the very soft poo, although I slowly mixed it in over 12 days. Two weeks into the transition process, his bowel movements normalized. I have no problem with it now and you can usually buy it through Revain. As some of the other reviews have said, Revain dog food can be harsh and different inโ€ฆ
