Works on my stubborn husky!

My Husky had a nasty little scratch on his leg and wouldn't leave him alone when I wrapped him up. He continued to chew on the wrapper and ripped it off in about 0.5 seconds. I sprayed this stuff on his new packaging and he will never mess with it again! I can also personally attest that it tasted WRONG: my dog tried to avoid it and I accidentally splashed it on my face. It doesn't sting the eyes, but the scent definitely lingers for a long time. Really disgusting. I recommend.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Works great on humans. Too bad I bought it for my cat

Well I got this once my cats got used to chewing on wires. I put it on my finger and tried it. I regretted being born. This is the worst bitter taste. So I was cool. Give me something else. The deer attacked my cat and put its finger in its mouth. She bites and then starts licking him. Hmm. That's not right. Put more on my finger. Put it in front of her face. She licks him again. Well, back to the drawing board. This will likely work if your child sucks their thumb. Otherwise throw it away. Or,

I seem luckier than others.

I've had better success than many reviewers, although I can't say why. This prevented my dog from eating my books while I was away (despite her great thirst for knowledge). It seems more like "luck" whether it works or not. I will say that it tastes absolutely awful. I had some on my hands and even after washing my hands many times I could still taste the splatters on every product I touched. You could easily market it as a product to help people stop nail biting. Just apply a layer like nail…

Works well but hangs in the air.

I bought this for my dog Josie. Coupon from years ago, she tore her "cruciate ligament" - I know dogs call it different, but it's the equivalent of the human cruciate ligament. She had TPLO surgery and has an implant and several screws in her leg. We often notice her licking the spot of her scar. We use sprays like that so she doesn't lick her lips. We tried this one because the cost was a lot lower than the bitter apple spray we got. It's so strong that we have to take her to another room to…

It's a good thing, just don't spray it while the fan is on.

I sprayed some of this stuff with the fan on and good. This stuff can also be pepper spray for puppies. Both of my adult dogs have been screaming to go outside and are still (the next day) licking something to get rid of their tongues. Unfortunately, older dogs only lick the stains that Puppy Pepper Spray fixed. and the trauma begins again! For me, I went out of the house and came back a few hours later. The thing was still up in the air. I cooked dinner and all the food was on my spoon. I…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • poorly thought out

The product is terrible. What a waste of money. I have never written 100% negative reviews but I must warn my fellow consumers and pet owners not to waste money on this product. The smell gets on everything and stays there, including your hands, if you spray it from a dirty bottle. This didn't stop my cat, who literally dove face first into the sprayed plant to eat the plant (somehow she was more attracted to it than she was before spraying). She covered her whole face with this product and…

READY TO EVACUATE - with 2021 update

We have a cat with a look. He eats what he shouldn't, so every year we spray the Christmas tree and undergrowth with bitter apple. When we pulled out the Bitter Apple this year, it didn't taste bad anymore (as we learned from improper spraying), so we ordered Bitter Yuck. It arrived quickly and we put up the tree. Then I started spraying. Bitter Yuck has a handy and easy-to-use trigger that can spray an entire Christmas tree with less hand cramping than a bottle of Bitter Apple hairspray. This…
