Will not purchase again

I bought this in the color purple for school. When it arrived I decided to give it a try and fresh out of the box it does not work. The Velcro comes undone the second you start inflating. I got the adult size and tried it on someone with thin arms as soon as I start to inflate the velcro popped open. The color was pretty but that's about it.

Pros
  • ggod
Cons
  • Nylon cuff may be uncomfortable for some users

Seems to be a wonderful buy.

Not completely sure how accurate this is, because I have not tested the accuracy yet. I bought it to take blood pressures on my husband as he has been having episodes. I am a nurse. I tested it on myself, and it seemed a little bit higher than my usual blood pressure, but I had no way to compare it. I will try to check my blood pressure next time I am at Walmart just to be sure. Otherwise It tightened well and I was able to get my blood pressure quite easily. My arm is very thin, so that may…

Pros
  • Chrome-plated brass air release valve.
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with certain medications

Works well: my feedback

It was necessary for me to get an accurate blood pressure, and this item did the job for me. It measured up accurately against cuffs in the doc's office and hospital. Very happy with it.

Pros
  • The Navy ADC Prosphyg 760 offers a highly accurate reading of blood pressure for adults
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with pacemakers or other medical devices

Nursing school must have

This is the first blood pressure cuff that I have purchased and I will buy again when the time comes to replace it (they generally only last a few years from constant use - nothing against the product!) It is easy to use and gives me an accurate reading.

Pros
  • Great BP cuff. The tubing did get a little loose after about 12 BP readings. Other than that very clear.
Cons
  • Nylon cuff may not fit comfortably on larger arms

Seller error -- fine except for 2 problems

I am caring for a 94 year old elderly woman whose arms are very small. The adult bp cuff was too large. Ordered the SMALL ADULT bp cuff.1. I almost cancelled the order because the delivery date was about 4 weeks. It arrived 8 days after placing order and 5 days after the shipper shipped it.2. The most serious problem with the order, was not the bp cuff, but the shipper. The shipper did not ship as ordered--a SMALL ADULT cuff; instead, what was shipped was a CHILD cuff. The packing slip clearly…

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is lightweight and easy to handle, reducing the risk of user fatigue
Cons
  • The cuff may be too tight or too loose, leading to inaccurate readings

Love the color. for my opinion

My daughter can tell her's from all the others at the station. Good quality Sphygmanometer but they have them standard on the rig.

Pros
  • Works perfect
Cons
  • Small cuff. Does not fit people over about 150 pounds or people that have large arms

Great Cuff if only I would have know that.

This is a good cuff, I keep it in my personal kit but we also use them in the department kits. Only thing I noticed is my valve gets a little sticky from time to time but this could be from use or cold or dirt. Also did you know that they make a cuff with glow in the dark numbers. Needless to say this is extremely useful at 3am. and yes the numbers stay charged even after it has been in a bag for a day or two.

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is a cost-effective solution for monitoring blood pressure, which can save users money on medical expenses
Cons
  • May not be as suitable for people with certain medical conditions, such as diabetes

Junk, don’t buy good for me

This item is not the advertised size. It is also made in China, with chemicals not approved in all states in the USA. Don’t waste your money.

Pros
  • I have tried other brands and this one by far is the best.
Cons
  • Requires manual pumping, which can be exhausting

Good Product on my review.

Works great. No complaints. I'm an RN and the home health agency I work for purchases this same brand for its nurses. Nice piece!!

Pros
  • Nice piece!
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with hearing problems

Valve sticks a little

It works but the valve is a little finicky and sticks when I go to let the air back out, which then makes it jump too quickly. It makes it a little more difficult to get an accurate reading but I have gotten used to it. The carrying bag is very nice.

Pros
  • Portable and easy to use, this sphygmomanometer is highly convenient for users on the go
Cons
  • May not give accurate readings if the cuff is improperly positioned

Great quality product

As a medical student I have been getting a lot of mileage out of this blood pressure cuff and really like it. You have to use a stethoscope with this type and know what you are doing so it is not the best choice for a lay person who just needs to monitor their own pressure and doesn't have any training. For a medical professional or anyone who knows how to take a real blood pressure the old fashioned way this cuff can't be beat. I highly recommend it, and love that it comes in colors other than

Pros
  • The Navy ADC Prosphyg 760 is made from high-quality materials, ensuring that it is reliable and long-lasting
Cons
  • The cuff may not fit properly if used on the wrong arm

This thing is WORTH IT, very accurate, from an RN

The BEST one I've had in 36 years of being an RN. Get it, this one is excellent and a great price, and my patients all love the snazzy purple color. Much more accurate than my digital one that I was using on peoples' wrists. Those squeeze too hard and I find this old school pump style is more accurate. Only thing, you non RNs will need a stethoscope to use this to listen for the heartbeats on the inside of the elbow. An inexpensive stethoscope will work for this part of taking someone's blood…

Pros
  • The device is suitable for use in a wide range of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and homes
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with certain skin conditions

I have bought 2 of these and both of them have broke.

So first time I bought this product was around June I believe it took about 2 months but it broke, I decided to buy another one because at least while it was working it was all good I thought I might have gotten just a bad device. So I buy another one and this one lasted wayyy less than the one I bought in June this lasted about 2 to 3 weeks. They must have a bad batch of devices because I have bought 2 and Both of them broke within a couple of weeks. If possible buy another sphyg not this one

Pros
  • Still have it, after years of use
Cons
  • Difficult to use for people with limited mobility
