The floating frame was designed to hold items in place by sliding them between two panes of glass. This frame is beautiful, but the distance between the two panes of glass is too big. I tried to fit the pressed flowers and leaves into the frame but they wouldn't stay in place and instead slid down.

The frame is quite heavy, looks heavy and is of good quality. The two layers of glass do not close very tightly. So if you put something thin inside you might need to tape it to the back instead of relying on the glass to press it in place. The clasp isn't very strong but I think it will stay in place if nobody touches it.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I used it to frame a pop up cutout from my 26th birthday card which was very special to me. My only complaint was having to fix the hole where the latch goes in to secure it. The metal was warped and wouldn't lock in place otherwise it would have given 5 stars. I am very excited to add this detail to my decor. I had the chain already attached so I didn't have to look for it. I would highly recommend it to anyone and may be interested in buying another one…

This is really great for framing faded, wilted flowers and I was very pleased with the width and thickness of the frame as well as its look. The problem is the latch. The latch is very unstable and when I showed my friend twice how it would hang, the front of the frame just fell off. Because it's a frame, and because it snaps at the top, that's a problem. If something was loose in the frame and that happened, these things would fly out. I was forced to superglue the frame by gluing the latch…
