Great value for money

Easy assembly. Worked the first time I turned it on. Sounds very good for the price. Used other pots so I could fit in the box. The rest I used accessories.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Easy to build good amp

I built this as part of my 200w amp system at home. I haven't installed it yet as the build is on hold for extra parts. Once I have it installed I will write another review on its performance.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Works great if you know how to solder

Works perfectly. If you're good at soldering and don't mind a permanent installation, here's your $200 headphone amp with budget EQs. It took about 30 minutes to make. I was powered by a 120/12v AC transformer out of the wall.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some cons

Nice Clean Preamp: Home Audio

This was a fun easy kit, no diagrams or guesswork. It sounded so good I bought another one for my other system. The sweat was the body I put it in. I installed my first rack on a 1/8th rack aluminum panel. The board had to be thinned to leave enough room for the threads on the potentiometers to fit nuts and washers. The maximum thickness is about 0.065 inch. The pan shafts fit into 9/32" diameter holes and are spaced approximately 0.932" apart. A little less than an inch. Enjoy!

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • Hard to Tell

I create professional quality products with a modular approach. I chose this preamp because it was a do-it-yourself kit and it uses a very popular and very stable operational amplifier (operational amplifier) that has good gain, very good signal-to-noise ratio, acceptable harmonics distortion, a good input impedance and with 400-600mV input signal, it can easily handle any amplifier board of your choice. Other subtleties are numerous; If you look closely at the PCB, the power supply ground and…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • So so
