Excellent blanket. My two small dogs shed quite a bit so they get a lot of hair. But it washes off flawlessly and without hair. I have had several fleece dog blankets and they are cleaner but still covered in hair. This blanket does!

Not really. For animals only. The quilted side is soft and the other side, which you don't see, is shiny polyester with embossed plastic tabs. The 2 sides don't match. Winter weather, new couch, dog who likes to "dig" on the couch. I had to leave the ceiling. I wrapped them around a sofa cushion. Comes off when the company is planned.
