Amazing set. I'm a safety professional and this kit comes in handy both at home and on the go for clothing and gear repairs. It can be used effectively in a medical emergency. Needles and threads are heavy.

I used needles to manually sew long name tags onto clothing. The needles work fine. But for hand sewing, a large or sturdy thimble may be more useful. I had to use pliers to pull the needle through the material. Maybe those weren't the right threads and needles for the job. Anyway, I got this working and the labels aren't coming off. LAUGH OUT LOUD

I bought this sewing kit to replace the seat of a chair with fabric and I knew I couldn't use a regular sewing kit. This kit was perfect! I had a selection of heavy needles and nylon threads that won't break when someone sits on the chair after replacing and sewing on the chair's seat. I changed the size and width of the needles and it worked great. I will use this stitch again on many other difficult projects that require heavy repairs.
