This stand is a beast. Heavy, durable and well made. Used with the outrigger post holder, the outrigger is fully extended and no sandbag is required on the post.

Pleasant color! The quality is excellent! I am confident that this stand will not bend and damage my flashlights and modifiers. A suggestion for everyone is to use 2 sandbags. Even on sunny days. Highly recommended!

Not as useful as Century Type C-Type Tripod (With Third Leg Height Adjustable), price may bribe you (about $2/3 .Sturdy and durable (also quite heavy) with nice smooth fittings and hardware.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it's very very well done. This made it much easier for me to shoot videos. It's a little heavy but should provide stability and strength. Great product, great price, as my skills and needs increase I'm sure I'll be buying more.

Excellent universal stand. Reliable in construction and incredibly stable. Throw in some sandbags and you can practically use it as a jungle gym (but don't try). Highly adjustable lighting, sonic boom, bounce and even cameras. All hinges are spring loaded to reduce shock to equipment during adjustment.

Excellent sturdy stand. Incredibly heavy due to the all-metal construction, but that's what makes it so strong and durable. The boom handle is also solidly constructed. The clips are strong when tightened and stay in place to keep my lighting gear secure. In my use, it never dangles in strong light. In any case, this is a good product with great value.

I'm very happy to see that they're making heavier metal coasters and accessories (instead of flimsy, light coasters and extenders with ripping pins and plastic doodles that probably don't pass as a real *cough* "Matte Box" *cough*). My first C stand and I love it. I wanted to upgrade to the Chrome version but didn't want to dump the bank on them. The design of this stand is very good and the height is excellent. The stand works perfectly. Very heavy and will not tip over unless severely unbalanced. I still have sandbags for that.
