I didn't like the mount

I bought this stand newer because I thought that all stands will be with a flexible leg. My mistake as this is my first. My main complaint is about the hand that comes with it. The end of the mount where you mount the S-Type mount / Bowen mount isn't hexagonal or grooved - meaning your softbox can't stay at a gravity-defying angle. I hope you understand my point of view.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are flaws

Should upgrade bars and racks

From someone who went straight to this little guy from overpriced racks, it's a huge difference. The cost isn't bad, but the stability and build quality are excellent. This is one of those stands that will probably stay forever. That means if I move from studio to studio it will be there. And now that I have a booth like this, I can't go back to the super budget booths.

Pros
  • Many will fit
Cons
  • It's ok

Not as high quality as hoped

We have previously purchased Neewer's unique C-stand and loved it. We thought a bag with it would be even better so we brought two bags of this style to have the bag and as soon as we touched it we realized it wasn't the same quality. It almost felt like plastic, not like heavy metal. If I used lighter lights they would be fine, but I didn't feel safe putting anything heavy on them.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons

Good product but not happy with condition

I received my product on a lightning deal. The C-Stand is good and serves its purpose well. However, there were no instructions in the packaging. I had to google and find a YouTube video that somehow gave me enough ideas to build it. Another problem was the condition of the goods. There was some brown rust around the hole in the stand and there were many scratches on the stand itself. I have no intention of returning it due to the weight, the listing I received and the fact that the item works.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Best budget stand I've ever used

I really like this stand for a number of reasons and dislikes it for a number of reasons. I'll start with what I like about it.1. The price is unbeatable. It's a legit and professional stand at a bargain price.2. This thing is super strong and high quality.3. He is very tall. I can comfortably send this standing sandbag over 10 feet high and not worry about it tipping over. Things I don't like: 1. I don't like the fact that it's chrome plated and not powder coated black, but I like the price so

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Very good lighting stand

The stand is very strong and easy to assemble and disassemble. I've worked in many studios with different brands of C-stands (Matthews, Kupo, Savage etc) and this Neewer has held up. It is very well made and nothing appears to be badly made. It doesn't have the same ornate design as the Matthews, Kupo, or Savage, as it has a simpler handle and hinge design, but everything tightens and holds very well. Some reviews say the bag isn't great but mine seems great and strong enough to carry…

Hollow arm - camera and photo

The secret difference between this ($140) and another ($145) Neewer (Heavy Duty) C-Stand is that it has a hollow but slightly longer boom. The other is about a foot shorter and made of solid steel. I already crumpled the hollow and tried to tighten the clamp - it immediately returns. After the first fitting my hands were covered in little shiny bits of "chrome" and for a second I felt great. Oddly enough, this "lighter" stand has a large washer between the notched clamps so it slides on it…

Pros
  • arrows and stand
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great C stand for the price!

New review: Neewer was kind enough to send me a new booth after a problem with the first one. I have nothing but good things to say about the replacement! Everything looks great and is very durable/high quality. Old review: the bag was torn and the main stand/bar was sticking out at the bottom! The seams weren't sewn properly and it's just a cumbersome pocket to put everything. Because of this, my package arrived without a stand mount, rendering it unusable. I don't know who made a mistake. So…

  • Lighting and Studio

  • I don't remember but there was something
