Nice little stand for lighting and studio

Nice and small stand for clamshell lighting. Also good for photographing small children; You may have low light. I'm not a big fan of plastic wheels.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • too blunt

Handy if you work alone!

It's a good idea to have a tripod on wheels, especially if you're working alone, you can move the light to where you need it without much effort. Doesn't sit very high so don't be afraid of incoming light, but the tripod base is wide enough to carry anyway.

Pros
  • Stock
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Ideal for low angle shots - easy to set up

The perfect tripod for low angles and because it's on wheels it's really easy to drag to where you need it rather than constantly standing and trying , to move a normal standing on it with a heavy light, you can easily rotate this baby as needed.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • For legacy models

Great little stand and great price!

Great little stand with light. I use it to support a flash with a small stripe box to provide a lower fill light for female portraits. I struggled to find a good stand with wheels that would allow me to position my bottom light low enough to be out of the frame for clients under 5ft 2in tall. It works great, stable and reliable not to tip over due to the heavy weight of the lantern and modifier. I have recommended the flashlight to other members of the headshot community, which I am a part of.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Wheels don't make it very portable

Was hoping I could use it for a reflector pole so people can get in and out of bed easily. However, this is too low. I also like to leave the wheels on when the going gets tough. It just takes way too long to unscrew and unscrew and leave them dangling in my pocket. It would be nice if it had its own pocket to keep everything together even when packed. It would be even better if it broke in a way that distributed the weight in a way that wasn't uncomfortable. However, I like the foldingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Neewer has failed once again.

Neewer let me down again. I ordered the Neewer Heavy Duty Light Stand with wheels, 2.4ft. Just got it from the post office today. When I brought it to the studio I opened the box and found only the base and 3 wheels. There was no adjustable center column and no detachable ยผ- to โ…œ-inch light stand tip. Any missing items will be considered part of the stand and will be listed as included in the box in the description. What's the matter, Niver? You're having quality control issues again. I willโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Modern
