I love these coasters. They offer a lower baseline if you want low-angle lighting or support for just about anything (reflectors, props, etc.). Once you reach the maximum height, stability will be affected, so you might want to have a couple of sandbags handy. four of them in total and have no regrets.

Now I have 6 of them. The intended use is as a macro light scaffold for LED lights. Overall quality is far from professional but I am giving % stars because they are suitable for indoor use, light wear for intended purpose. Be careful with them. . and will work fine.

Is this the price after a system failure? They're only 80cm tall but very useful for certain needs and I'll admit they're a lot more portable than any lightweight racks. You can buy some sandbags but I don't use them now. Most of my recent field work has been done with these little light stands.

I like the size of these bases, but Neewer used a very weak base locking system. This probably lowers production costs a bit, but is not entirely reliable. I fear it will crack or break and due to the design there is no reasonable repair solution. However, at this price point, it probably won't bother you - just buy a new set to have on hand.
